RVNS PreK Private Pod

$180.00 every month

Wednesday 9:30-11:00 (total of 4, 1.5 hour classes each month, except for holiday months)

Welcome Families! This class is now on auto pay making it easier for you to enjoy your class and not have to worry about each months payment. YOU may cancel at any time and MUST do so if you are not going to join the following month. Once payment goes through there are no refunds.

We have designed a very special class for your learning pod that will be everything ART! We can’t wait to get started. Please register each participant with their own form so that we have appropriate information about each child.

Dates for February: 3, 10, 17 (fee is $135 and you will receive a partial refund for 3 weeks)

Dates for March: 9, 16, 23, 30

Dates for April: 13, 20, 27 (fee is $135 and you will receive a partial refund for 3 weeks)

Dates for May: 4, 11, 18, 25

COVID safe: masks must be worn, artists will have their own workstation with their own sterilized art tools and hand washing will be frequent. When entering class we will have hand sanitizer and we will use it again upon leaving.

GOALS to achieve during classes:

•Recognize and describe simple patterns found in the environment and works of art, emphasizing line, color, shape/form, and texture

•Creative Expression, Use of texture and color and form in original works of art.

•Describe how and why they made a selected work of art, focusing on the media and technique.

•Demonstrate beginning skill in the use of basic tools

•Understanding and applying media, techniques and processes

•Students intentionally take advantage of the qualities and characteristics of art media, techniques and processes to enhance communication of their experiences and ideas

•Making decisions in situations where there are no standard answers

•Openness, respect for work, and contemplation when participating in the arts as an observer or audience members are personal attitudes that enhance enjoyment

•Because the arts offer the continuing challenge of situations in which there is no standard or approved answer, those who study the arts become acquainted with many perspectives on the meaning of “value”
