Class Description: Each session our knitting students will work on their project. Projects vary on ability and experience, we will make sure to share skills that will celebrate your child exactly where they are with learning. Beginners start with a similar project and work their way up to independent projects.

Knitting is a great way to encourage creativity, concentration, relaxation and even improves maths skills. This beginning knitting class will focus on a new project each month, beginning with January’s build a bunny or other animal of interest. The technique learned in January’s class can lead to other animal making adventures too! Knitting is a fantastic skill to build cross-median brain development, long-term project management, pattern reading and recognition, delayed gratification…AND you get a super cozy item out of it at the end!
