You must register for this class. Materials fee is $20 dollars for this class (except where meeting only 3 times in a month, then there is no additional fee. Classes are monthly tuition, subscription-based and you may cancel your subscription at any time. Class fee includes canvas, all paints, gloves, brushes to use, and wood panels.

This class is designed with teens in mind. Students will be learning about painting techniques, our main medium used is acrylic underpainting with most of our focus on oil painting. Welcoming all styles we will explore realism, abstract, expressionism, and surrealism. Students will be working from their own inspiration and will choose what subject they would like to paint. An introduction each class period will have a new technique in brush application, composition, solvents, and how to tell a story through painting. Drawing techniques are taught simultaneously as we begin to “see like artists” and execute like professionals.
